Since August 2007, Dr. Cao has been working in the Department of Ultrasonography at Beijing Chaoyang Hospital, Capital Medical University. From July to September 2008, he participated in medical volunteer service at the Beijing Olympic Village Clinic. With his professional expertise in sports injuries and musculoskeletal ultrasound examinations, he excellently completed the medical support work for the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games and was awarded the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games Medical Support Honor Certificate by the Beijing Health Bureau.
From July 2015 to January 2016, he participated in the National Health and Family Planning Commission's "Chinese Medical Aid Team to Trinidad and Tobago," providing medical assistance at the San Fernando General Hospital and the Spanish Town General Hospital, and successfully completed medical aid and training work.
He has received funding for a National Natural Science Foundation project and has published over 30 papers in SCI and Chinese core journals.
